I’m pleased to announce that Madshus is supporting me this season. They have helped me out with some of their excellent Nano Carbon Race 100 UHM poles for both skate and classic.

I’ve been able to get them out on snow in the ski tunnel in Oberhof, and this week on Frozen Thunder in Canmore. Yesterday I was really able to enjoy their excellent weight to strength ratio in some double poling intervals (8x20secs and 3x3mins).

Madshus has also put great care into details with these poles – the handle and strap are the most comfortable I have ever skied with. Before I skied with these poles I had previously purchased Madshus’ Contour Champion straps because they are so comfortable and they have served me well through several Canadian Ski Marathons.

The inside of the strap has a nice grippy texture.

The heat moldable strap fits nicely to the hand.

The pole handle narrows between the thumb and forefinger for a more comfortable grip.
