Czech Republic

While growing up I spent most of my summers in the Czech Republic with family. These days I don’t get to go as often, or for as long, but this year I was able to spend a beautiful week there at the beginning of May.

We started our trip in the capital city – Prague. Many thanks to Laura for helping with photos this week, especially in the town of Český Krumlov.

Next we traveled to Železná Ruda in the South West of the country and hiked into the Šumava mountains to find the last bits of snow.

Finally we took a train to Český Krumlov for a quick touristy visit before returning to Prague.
